6-Day Big Cat Tracking & Wildlife Photography Masterclass Safari: Specialized Photo-Rigged 4×4 Expedition

Transfer & Activity: Morning pick-up from your Nairobi hotel at 6:30 AM. Drive down the Great Rift Valley, arriving at the Maasai Mara camp by lunchtime. Settle into your tent, check your camera bodies and telephoto lenses at our dedicated charging station hub, and head out for your first late-afternoon golden-hour session targeting lion pride movements.

Activity: Depart at dawn before sunrise. Utilize our vehicle’s low-angle mounts to capture eye-level shots of cheetahs stalking through the dewy savannah grass. Spend the morning analyzing light angles and focal lengths with your guide before returning to camp for midday battery swaps and data offloading.

Activity: Dedicate the day to tracking elusive leopards resting in the acacia and fig trees along the river corridors. Position the custom 4x4 cruiser for optimal side lighting, using bean bags for absolute stability during long-exposure or high-zoom shots. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wild.

Activity: Head toward the Mara River transitional zones. Focus on fast-paced action framing—monitoring crocodile activity, scavenger dynamics, and prides waiting near riverbanks. Practice panning techniques for moving subjects with expert positioning guidance from your driver-guide.

Activity: Enjoy exclusive access to private conservancy boundaries allowing off-road tracking. Follow fresh tracks to locate active hunts, nocturnal predator transitions, and intimate behavioral moments without tourist congestion. Wrap up with a classic bush sundowner.

Transfer & Activity: An early morning final sunrise drive to capture silhouettes of giraffes and acacia trees. Return to camp for breakfast, check out, and begin the scenic drive back to Nairobi, arriving by late afternoon with direct drop-off at your hotel or JKIA.
