Itinerary
Depart from Nairobi early in the morning for a scenic drive down the Great Rift Valley escarpment, pausing briefly to take in the breathtaking panoramic views. Arrive at the Maasai Mara National Reserve in time for check-in and a freshly prepared lunch at your lodge or tented camp. After a short rest, head out for your first exhilarating evening game drive. This is the perfect time to capture stunning photographs as the sun sets over the golden savannah and the African wilderness begins to come alive. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Wake up to an early breakfast before embarking on an immersive, full-day game drive through the vast plains of the Mara. Equipped with a picnic lunch to maximize your time in the wild, you will track the legendary Big Five—Lions, Leopards, Elephants, Rhinos, and Buffalos—and witness incredible wildlife interactions. In the afternoon, enrich your journey with an authentic cultural visit to a traditional Maasai village. Experience their vibrant lifestyle, traditional singing and jumping dances, and learn about their ancient heritage. Head back to the lodge for a relaxing evening, dinner, and campfire stories.
Experience the magic of the bush at dawn with a spectacular early morning game drive. This is the absolute best time to spot active predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards wrapping up their nocturnal hunts before the heat of the day sets in. Return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast, pack your bags, and check out. Enjoy a final en-route game drive as you exit the gates, commencing your journey back to Nairobi.
