Located in the heart of Tsavo West National Park, Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge holds the prestige of being the very first hotel ever established within the park. The name Kilaguni is derived from a Kamba word meaning “Young Rhino.”
The lodge overlooks the volcanic Chyulu Hills and offers distant, partial views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Featuring an active waterhole right in front of the lodge, guests can watch large herds of elephants, buffaloes, and plains game come to drink and cool off from the stone-built viewing deck, central dining area, or private room balconies.
